Well, here's my contribution to the Bosc Pear Photography Obsession.
At the moment there are no flowers in my garden and although I don't mind winter, I often find myself at a loss as to what to photograph. So when I came across these lovely pears whilst doing my grocery shopping I became inspired. (I so love it when you can eat your still life when you're finished with it).
Today is the last day of Texture Tuesday until 2013. I can't remember why that is so, it just is...
It is also the "Free and Easy Edition" where all you have to do is use any texture of your choice. I used Kim's "paper and paste" on multiply. I don't usually go so texture-heavy but of course Bosc Pears cry out for it and when Bosc Pears cry out, I listen.
I'm hoping that the next time you see them, they are in a tart.
If you want to join in the fun - head over to Kim Klassen Cafe
Art - simply put! Great work.

ReplyDeletePears are just the most sensual and photogenic of fruit, aren't they? Genius shots...love them. Last winter I found some baby pears that I had never seen before and had so much fun with them. They're up on my dining room wall now.
