I took a walk around the yard this afternoon enjoying what is supposed to be the last decent day for quite a while. We're supposed to get 7cm of (blowing) snow and cold temperatures overnight. No big news to us, we already have some snow - it is the middle of November, after all. Well, I found some delightful examples of white. First, these fungi? growing on the fallen white poplar, now topped off with a bit of the 'white stuff'.

Really liked all your white shots - particularly your second one. It must be amazing to see such a transformation in your lake throughout the year's seasons.

ReplyDeleteThe birch trees are so beautiful and I love the look of the snow. Is the lake actually frozen already? I can appreciate the beauty in the photos, but I also understand how it would get old fast. I look forward to enjoying the winter scenes through your blog since I won't get to see it in person!
