I just discovered the InLinkz Link Manager

Could it be that I am the last one on the planet to hear about this?

Here's what InLinkz says about the InLinkz Link Manager:
  • It is a widget that you can insert in your blog to display lists of products, menus and buttons
  • The lists can display a thumbnail of the product
  • You construct lists by dragging and dropping from a pool of products you have added in the tool
  • Each collection and product link is tracked for impressions and clicks
  • It can be displayed on your blog or site and works on blogger and wordpress.com sites and RSS feeds
  • It has powerful search functions to manage all your links, no matter how many you have

The Link Manager, our product listing tool, is currently available for free as it goes through its public beta phase until start of November 2012. In order to use it, you need to get a coupon code. You can get a coupon here

With it, I created a Recipe Gallery.

I put all my links on a Page which is on a Tab at the top of my blog. Here's a sample of how my gallery looks:

Pretty cool, huh? I separated all my recipes by type; appetizers, soups, main course, etc.

I found it pretty easy to work with - a few little glitches here and there - but nothing major. And I already use LinkWithin which has been seamless. So I kinda trust InLinkz...

The thing is, I think they are ultimately going to charge for it... something like $1.99/month for the ability to use thumbnails. I think text links are going to be free. Don't quote me on all this - check it out carefully for yourself.

I kind of like it. What do you think? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

  1. It certainly looks interesting. It's nice that you can organize recipes and such. I'm so overloaded already with techie stuff, that I think I'm at a standstill with adopting anymore sites. I'm having enough trouble keeping up with my blog, Twitter and Facebook. Hope you have fun with it, though! Enjoy your weekend!
