One Word Project - August

Well, now that I have my iPod I've been taking a few photos here and there. But I have to admit - I find it a bit difficult. I did get one that I really liked, but most of them? not so much . . . plus I didn't really know what to do with them.

So today I am joining in with the Shutter Sisters for their One Word Project. There are a list of prompts for each day and the idea is to "elevate the everyday". So for the month of August I plan to take a photo a day. I'm not going to sweat over getting the perfect shots - for me it's about doing and learning and in the end I will have captured a bit of my life and what's not to like about that?

Hanging out with Kim Klassen
The prompt today is "my morning".

This was my morning, however it is not quite 'the everyday'. Jessica Maleski invited me and seven others to join in a Google Hangout with Kim Klassen as our guest! So this is my morning and of course that's Kim there . . . I'm over in the first square holding up my iPod to snap this photo. There certainly were a few hiccups during the recording but hey - it was still an amazing experience! and a big thank you to Jessica for a job well done! She was holding her baby the whole time she was hosting this hangout! I thought it was showing in real time - but now I'm not too sure - I think Jessica is going to edit it and then post it.

So back to Instagram, to share my photos I've joined 'Followgram' and you can keep an eye on me there if you have the urge - (I'm not going to blog about all of them). To follow just click on the Instagram icon at the top of my blog and it will take you to my photo stream.

OK - I'm off to clean up my house - it looks like a tornado went through it! I've been sitting at the computer for much to long . . .

Thanks for stopping by and have a wonderful Wednesday!

  3. Hello Barb!

It was a delight to meet you this morning at the hangout with Kim Klassen. Wasn't that fun? Lovely blog you have here and I've have to say you are an inspiration to me. Even though I'm a bit behind in the Behind the Scenes class I now feel less frustrated because of our hangout. So much to learn, right?, but really fun too.

    Warm regards,
    Karla
