Butterflies of AZ - Part I

We've been in AZ for a couple of weeks. Yesterday we took a trip to the Desert Botanical Gardens where a butterfly exhibit has been running since March 3rd and is to continue into May. I've never been in a butterfly 'house' and found it completely enchanting. They flutter all around you simply bent on finding food in the flowers and oranges made available to them. Hubby had to drag me out . . .

I have tons of photos to post - just not a lot of time right now.

Hope to get back to regular blogging next week!

  4. I like all of the nice color in this shot. I miss the butterfly garden they used to have here at our Zoo. They are such beautiful little creatures.
