Barnscape
Kim gave permission to go heavy on the textures this week so I dove right in! I'm loving the class - not only learning about textures but also picking up tidbits about Photoshop. It's really neat to watch someone else work - it's almost like having her right here (almost).
It got me to thinking, I'd love to take another Photoshop class but in a 'live' setting with people all around. Hmmm, maybe the next time I get an e-mail from 'Kelby Training - Live' I won't send it to the deleted bin so quickly . . .
I followed the lesson {Photographically Speaking } Day 10 ~ A Painterly Effect. I used different textures than Kim did, and I also blended in a photo of some starlings that I took last year - whoa! I'm really getting brave!
ooh ooh!!! love the flying flock of birds!!! ooh ooh!!! :)
ReplyDeleteI too am lovin' this class and I love your barn pic...the more crumbled the better. Hmm, got me thinkin' about a photo I took recently that I added a flock too.
ReplyDeleteLove this...it's unique!
ReplyDeleteWHoa! Amazing job, love how the birds fit seamlessly into the photo. Photoshop blows my mind ; )
ReplyDeleteYes....I love playing with heavy textures much of the time, Barb. This is a wonderful "painterly" image that you've created. (I find that barn most interesting, as well.)
ReplyDeleteGreat choice using the Starlings...gives the photo a very stark feeling.
ReplyDeleteThis looks amazing!
ReplyDeleteI am enjoying the classes too. Kim is such a great source of knowledge and she explain things so well.
ReplyDeleteGreat job with the blending and texture.
Very nice! Such a great capture in this photo. Hope your having a great weekend. Thanks again for the kind comments on my site!
ReplyDeleteThis is gorgeous Barb ~ of course I adore old barns to start with but I love this. I made the cookies on Sunday and they have been a hit both at home and at work! Hope you are having a great week-end.
ReplyDeleteI'm enjoying where your bravery is taking you!
