Sunday Series 52: Week 2

This week Nancy at 'A Rural Journal' challenged us to photograph three images related to 'mail'. I have picked up mail at this mailbox for ten years but since we get most of our mail via e-post, the volume has dwindled to the point where I even forget to check for it. Today when I went there to get these shots I came home and realized that hadn't even looked in the box to see if there was anything in it!

  6. Beautiful shots. It's sad that we don't get "real" mail any longer. I miss holding a letter in my hand.

  8. Nice photo story. Strange how our view of the mail box is changing. I love receiving mail in both my mailboxes - electronic and physical.

  12. This series is wonderful. We've encountered several locks at the Boy and Girls Club (which I thought never closed. It reminds me of those. These would be AMAZING to illustrate a poem or story.
