By the wayside III - brown-eyed susan


I have been having so much fun this summer with all the wildflowers I find in our ditches and roadsides. I spied these on our last road trip only after I had stopped to get a photo of a barn. I'm delighted by their cheery blooms and the fact that they are just there - inconspicuously waiting for someone to appreciate them, and appreciate them I do . . .

    Beautiful wildflowers! They must be such a delight to those who look and appreciate them. We don't have "wildflowers" in my part of Australia.

    Love your frame and staples! I'm going to have to find something unique to dress up my own photos now that I'm participating. I have some of these in my flower garden and I call them false sunflowers. They're gorgeous!

    Gorgeous! I've usually got the kids with me, so road side photography isn't something I get to do much, but it's definitely my favorite thing. There's something about stumbling on something that's so beautiful that you feel the need to capture it.
