This is my version of a sunrise! we don't get one! Our house sits north/south and there are trees all around. But, if I take a walk down the path out onto the dock, this is my view to the left. The sun was barely up and the cooler temperatures overnight had created a bit of fog. I had scared off all the water fowl (just by walking out onto the dock) and the lake was smooth as glass. It was so beautiful, so quiet, and so fleeting! Even before I left to go back up to the house, the light had changed and the scene was just not quite the same.

This was chosen as a 'favourite' at Live Every Moment for the theme of water!

Stunning! I can't wait to be there!

We don't get one either Barb for the same reason, but we also don't get anything like this. I love this, and the reflection is just perfect!
ReplyDeleteI'm so glad you were there at just the right time to catch that lovely scene. So pretty!
ReplyDeleteIt is special to catch those brief beautiful moments when the scene seems designed just for us. Beautiful image!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful reflections. How I would love to live near a lake like this.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous capture!
ReplyDeleteWell our house faces east to west so we get some stunning texan sunrises and sunsets, but our view is of house roofs and streets - we don't have a beautiful view such as yours at the dock. Lovely photo and a very lovely view.
